Undefeated record ends as Trolls lose to Trojans

The Trinity women's soccer team traveled to Trinity International to face another CCAC opponent, hoping to keep their undefeated streak alive. But after a TIU goal, the Trolls were unable to come back, losing the match 1-0.

The Trojans scored early in the match. TIU's Hannah Fuchs scored in the third minute, and it was the only goal in the game.

Throughout the match, the Trolls were dominating on offense. Trinity Christian put up 17 shots compared to the Trojans' three, but with Trinity International's defense, the Trolls were unable to score a goal.

Sophomore Selah Hopkins got the most shots for the Trolls with six and one on goal. Senior Taylor Miller also put pressure on the Trojans' defense, putting up four shots with two on goal.

Following that one goal, Trinity International was only able to put up only one shot on goal, which was saved by Trolls' goalkeeper Ally Kranstz.

Trinity Christian will be back in action again on Saturday, Oct. 12, as they prepare to host Cardinal Stritch at 12 p.m. The Trolls are now 5-1 in CCAC play and 10-1 overall heading into this match.
