Allie Paluchniak will begin as the head men’s and women’s golf coach starting in the 2019-20 season. She comes to Trinity after serving as the head women’s golf coach at Wheaton College.

Over the last two seasons, the Wheaton Thunder finished in the top three in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin under Paluchniak. On top of these finishes, she coached a conference medalist and two all-conference golfers. She also managed all operational aspects of the NCAA Division III program along with hosting tournaments and events for the team.

Returning to her alma mater, Paluchniak played three seasons of basketball for the Trolls. She graduated from Trinity in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science.

Following her undergraduate education, she earned a master’s of education in athletic administration and physical education from the University of Mary in Bismarck, N.D. During her time there, she served as a graduate assistant for the women’s basketball team, helping the NCAA Division II program advance to its conference tournament and secure wins over top-25 programs.

Along with coaching the men’s and women’s golf programs, Paluchniak will be an assistant for the women’s basketball team. She served an assistant coach for the women’s basketball team at Wheaton College, where she helped the Thunder to a conference championship, two NCAA Division III tournament bids, and a top-25 ranking.

Paluchniak is a member of the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association, where she was a part of the “So You Want To Be A Coach” seminar, finishing in 2016. She was also a member of the Coach to Coach Mentoring Program from 2016 to 2018. Additionally, she is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and is a member of Women Leaders in College Sports. With this organization, she was selected for the Women’s Leadership Symposium in April 2017, received the Rising Star Spotlight in May 2018, and was a member of its mentoring program in 2017 and 2018.
