Trolls Compete at Purdue-Northwest Classic

The three members of the women’s golf team played in their second competition of the season at the Purdue University-Northwest Classic. The golfers played 18 holes at Green Garden Country Club in Frankfort, Illinois.

Overall there were 11 golfers at the event. Playing in her first collegiate competition, Merina Miner led the team with a score of 101. She finished in fourth place. Freshman Sara Blauw was in a tie for 7th place with another golfer with her 107 total.  Junior Rachael Tupper posted the best score of her career with a 122. She ended in a tie for 9th place.

The golfers will compete next in the Troll Classic on October 3.
