Coach Damon Jensen did not have to go far to find talent for his golf program as he signed three seniors from Chicago Christian High School in Palos Heights, Illinois. Twin brothers Daniel and Peter Vos along with Nate Kamp have committed to Trinity and to the golf program with signed letters of intent.

All three of these golfers were a significant part of the success for the Chicago Christian golf team.  In the 2016 fall season they led the Knights to second place finish in both the Illinois High School Association regional and sectional championships. At the IHSA 2A State Championships their team finished in ninth place overall.
Daniel Vos played on the golf team for two seasons at Chicago Christian. This past fall he earned all-conference honors and was the individual medalist at the Region meet where he shot an 81.

In addition to the golf team, Daniel also plans on joining the baseball program at Trinity. He played baseball for four seasons in high school as a pitcher and first baseman. For that sport he has earned all-conference honors three times and all-state honors once. In addition he has set six single season individual pitching records.

Peter Vos played four seasons of golf for the Knights. As a junior he was a Top 10 individual finalist at the IHSA State meet and he finished in the Top 15 as a senior. Peter also earned Regional Player of the Year honors twice.

Daniel and Peter are the sons of Bob and Mary Vos of Orland Park.

Nate Kamp competed for the Knights’ golf team for four seasons. In the 2015 season he medaled in the region meet and as a senior he medaled in the sectional meet.

Nate is the son of Jim and Susan Kamp of Orland Park, Illinois.
