NCCAA National Volleyball Championship Information

The tournament schedule has been set for the 2012 NCCAA Division I Volleyball Championship held at the Kissimmee Civic Center in Kissimmee, Florida on November 29 – December 1.  The Trolls (30-8), who earned an automatic bid to the tournament as the North Central Region champions, are the No. 3 seed of the field of 10 teams. The national appearance is the third in a row for the Trolls, who finished as runner-up a year ago.

The teams have been divided into two pools of five and in the first two days of competition they will play a round robin against the teams in their pool. The top two teams from each pool will advance to the final four play-offs on Saturday, December 1 with the semifinal winners meeting for the championship match at 3:00 pm EST.

In Pool B with Trinity are No. 2 Shorter University (GA), No. 6 Bethel College (IN), No. 7 Malone University (OH), and No. 10 McMurry University (TX).  The Trolls’ pool play schedule is:
Thursday, November 29
     10 am EST     vs Malone
      2 pm EST      vs Bethel
Friday, November 30
    12 pm EST     vs McMurry
     4 pm EST      vs Shorter

The teams of Pool A include No. 1 Fresno Pacific University (CA), No. 4 Campbellsville University (KY), No. 5 Oakland City University (IN), No. 8 Grace College (IN), and No. 9 Southern Wesleyan University (SC).
