In the second day of action of the Saint Xavier/Trinity Crossover the Trolls hosted No. 8 Mount Mercy University (Cedar Rapids, Iowa).  Trinity played well against the nationally ranked Mustangs, but came up short of a victory. Trinity pulled to within four, but was outscored 4-to-1 in the points for the eight point loss.

A block by the Mustangs gave them the 25-24 lead and they finished the set and the match on a kill.
