Trinity opened the match with Bluefield on a 6-0 run with Adam Becker at the service line. They continued to hold the lead until Bluefield tied the score at 15-15. The teams were deadlocked again at 18-18 before a three point run by the Trolls gave them a 21-18 lead. Ahead at 22-20 the Troll scored the final three points for the win.

Trinity jumped to a 10-4 start in the second set and continued to pull away from the Rams. The Trolls did not allow Bluefield to hit double digits until the score was 22-10. Again the Trolls had the final three points for win.

The third set was close in the early stages until a six point run with Becker on the service line again gave the Trolls a 16-10 lead. Trinity took a 23-16 lead, but allowed Bluefield to score the next three points. The teams traded points until Trinity had the final say.
