CCAC Women’s Soccer Conference Tournament

At the end of the regular season the Trolls were the conference champions and claim the No. 1 seed heading into the conference tournament. Trinity and the seven other tournament qualifiers will begin play in the quarterfinal round of the CCAC Women’s Soccer Tournament on November 3.  In their first round game the Trolls will host No. 8 Judson University at 11 am at the Schaaf Athletics Complex.

Trinity (16-1), who is currently ranked No. 19 in the NAIA national poll, finished the conference schedule with a 9-1 record. Their only CCAC loss was to Trinity International University.  The Trolls’ opponent on November 3 is No. 8 Judson University, who finished their season with a 4-11-1 overall record and a 3-6-1 conference record. During the season Trinity defeated Judson on September 26 with a score of 3-0.

The No. 2 seed in the standings is Cardinal Stritch University (12-3, 8-2), who lost to Trinity and St. Ambrose University during the season. No. 3 is St. Ambrose (12-4, 7-3), who fell to Trinity, Robert Morris University, and the University of St. Francis in the conference schedule. Trinity International (9-6-2, 6-3-1) is the No. 4 seed.

Rounding out the field is Olivet Nazarene University (5-10-2, 5-4-1) at No. 5, Robert Morris (7-6-3, 5-4-1) at No. 6, and Saint Xavier University (5-9-2, 4-5-1) at No. 7.

The quarterfinal round games are on November 3 with the four quarterfinal winners advancing to the semifinal round on Wednesday, November 7. The semifinal winners will compete for the conference tournament title in the championship game on November 10. All games will be played at the school of the higher seed.  

The CCAC tournament champion will receive an automatic bid to the NAIA National Championship that begins with Opening Round games on November 17.
