Brianna Uhl Named CCAC Player of the Week

With two more victories to add to their 11-0 record, freshman Brianna Uhl (Upland, California) was named the CCAC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week September 24-29.  In the team’s two shut-out conference wins, Uhl had a total of four goals and one assist.  She had a total of eight shots, of which all were on-goal and half were goals.

The four goals and assist from Uhl all came in the Trolls’ second game of the week against the University of St. Francis.  Subbing into the game for a total of 47 minutes of play, she scored two goals in each half of the game that ended in an 8-0 victory. She was involved in all three of the second half goals as she assisted the first goal of that period. For the game she took six shots, all of which were on-goal and four of which were goals.

Earlier in the week in a 3-0 victory over Judson University, Uhl came off the bench with 32 minutes of play and had two shots of which both were on-goal.

For the season Uhl has eight goals and six assists and is the third leading scorer on the team.  She ranks third in the conference in goal average and in point average.
