Trinity Denied at Spring Arbor

In a non-conference road game the Trolls were shut-out at Spring Arbor University (Spring Arbor, Michigan). Trinity fell behind early and by the half they were down by three goals. They gave up one more goal in the second period to end in the 4-0 loss. The team is now 1-5 for the season.

Spring Arbor took over the lead early as they struck in the first four minutes of the game. The Cougars then added another goal at the 16th minute to make it a 2-0 game. Before the half was over they tacked on their third goal. The Trolls only had four shots in the period.

Trinity struggled to get their offensive going in the second half as well as they attempted one shot. Spring Arbor had a total of 10 shots in the period. The Cougars did not score off those shots until the 86th minute when they got their final goal.

Overall Trinity had five shots for the game and Spring Arbor had 24. Mathis Muller was credited with four saves.

The Trolls have a 10 day break before their next competition on September 19 at home against Cardinal Stritch University.
