Men’s Soccer Team Set to Begin Season

The Trolls are set to open their 2018 season under third year coach Eric Salley.  The team makes their season debut on August 21 at Taylor University in Upland, Indiana with a 7 pm ET start. The squad will appear on their home turf at the Schaaf Athletics Complex in their home opener on August 25 with a 2 pm game against Siena Heights University.

The Trolls have a road heavy schedule with 11 of their 17 games played away. Three of those contests occur in a four day stretch in Iowa in the first weeks of the schedule. The team will face Dordt College (Sioux Center, Iowa) on August 31 and is at Northwestern College (Orange City, Iowa) the next day.  On their way back to Trinity they will play at Clarke University (Dubuque, Iowa) on September 3.  Also before the start of the conference schedule, the Trolls will play at Spring Arbor University (Spring Arbor, Michigan) on September 8.
 
The conference schedule consists of 11 games of which five are at home. Trinity begins their CCAC play on September 19 at home against Cardinal Stritch University. Their other home conference contests are on September 29, October 3, 17, and 20. The CCAC road games will take them to Robert Morris University-Illinois and Judson University in September and Roosevelt University, St. Ambrose University, Calumet College of St. Joseph, and Saint Xavier University in October. The Trolls will conclude their regular season schedule on October 27 and the CCAC Tournament runs from November 2-9.
