Trolls Suffer Loss at St. Francis

The Trolls could not get back in the win column in a conference game at the University of St. Francis (Joliet, Illinois), a team at the top of the early CCAC standings. Trinity struck first, but St. Francis scored the next three goals for 3-1 half-time score. Each team repeated their first half output in the second period for the 6-2 loss for Trinity. The Saints increased their lead to three goals when they scored in the first five minutes of the second period. The Trolls did not let up and seven minutes later Fekadu Timmermans scored as the St. Francis goalkeeper came out to play the ball and left an empty net.

Some of the fight was taken away from Trinity when St. Francis added another goal in the 63rd minute. The Saints got their final goal in the 76th minute for the 6-2 final.

For the game Trinity had 13 shots and St. Francis had 34. Mathis Muller was in the goal with six saves.
