Trolls Shut-out Archers

The Trolls made the trip into the city to play at Moody Bible Institute (Chicago, Illinois) in a non-conference game. The team got back into the win column as they shut-out the Archers with a 4-0 final. Trinity scored two goals in each half to take the victory. They are now 2-3 for the season.

Trinity took control of the game early in the first half as they got on the board in the 13th minute. The first goal was scored by Gabriel Soler on an assist from Fekadu Timmermans. Six minutes later the Trolls’ led was extended when Moody scored on themselves to give Trinity a 2-0 lead.

In the second half the Trolls continued to attack and matched their production of the first half. In the 61st minute the Timmermans brothers teamed up for a goal. It was Fekadu with the goal on the assist from Getenet. The final goal of the game came in the 79th minute as Getenet finished a pass from Abe Wierda.

The Trolls ended the game with 20 shots while Moody had three. Both Fekadu and Getenet Timmermans ended with one goal and one assist.
