Troll Classic leads to third place finish for men's team

The Trinity men’s golf team competed in their final tournament of the fall season at the Troll Classic, which is their home tournament. Out of the seven teams that competed, the Trolls were able to finish in third place behind St. Francis and Saint Xavier.

Leading the way for the Trolls on the green today was junior Pete Vos, who shot a 79. Following close behind was junior Dan Vos and freshman Joe Curtin, who both shot 81 on the day.

Senior Bob Schaaf rounded out the scoring for the Trolls, finishing with an 83.

Trinity also had a second team competing in the tournament today. The team finished in seventh of seven in scoring.

The Trolls will be back in action again in the spring, which is the team’s championship season. A schedule will be released in the coming weeks.
