Men's golf set to compete in St. Francis Fall Classic

The Trinity men’s golf team competed in the Fall Tiger Invitational this past weekend and is now ready to hit Wedgewood Golf Course for the University of St. Francis Fall Classic.

“It was a pretty good opening weekend for us,” said head coach Allie Paluchniak. “We saw some good things, and I am excited to see more out of them and watch it become consistent.”

Leading the way for the Trolls this past weekend was junior Pete Vos. The veteran starter opened the tournament shooting a 79, and finished out the second day with an 81.

Senior Bob Schaaf also finished the tournament strong, shooting an 86 on day one and 78 day two, which was the team’s lowest score of the weekend.

Also appearing in the starting lineup for the Trolls will be junior Dan Vos, junior Nate Kamp and freshman Joe Curtin.

The tournament will begin at 10 a.m. at Wedgewood Golf Course in Joliet, Ill. To see the results following the tournament, visit
