Trinity Scores Well at St. Francis Invite

The Trolls had one of their best team finishes of the season at the University of St. Francis Fall Invitational played at Joliet Country Club.  The team posted score of 318 after 18 holes and finished in fourth place in the field of nine schools. Overall, they had four members of their team in the top half of the field.

Leading the Trolls with a four-over 76 was Dan Vos. He finished in a tie for seventh place of 53 golfers and was just one stroke back from a top five finish.

Jim Vos was in a group of four golfers that tied for 16th place with a round of 80. One stroke behind him were Steven Massey and Pete Vos who finished tied for 20th place.

The final competitor for the team was Nate Kamp who shot an 85 and took 38th place.

The Trolls will compete again on September 13-14 in the NCCAA Regional Tournament at Trappers Turn Golf Club in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin.
