Honors for Men’s Basketball Team Members

At the conclusion of the basketball season, a handful of the men’s basketball players were honored with post-season awards for their achievement on the court and in the classroom. Leading the honors was senior Jordan Perry (Park Forest, Illinois), who was named CCAC All-Conference Honorable Mention and to the NCCAA North Central All-Region Team. For the season Perry led the team in scoring and rebounding with 20.0 points per game and 7.4 rebounds per game. He posted a .529 field goal percentage and with his 559 points for the season he amassed his 1,000th career point at Trinity.

Garnering NCCAA North Central All-Region Honorable Mention status was senior Trey Johnson (Manteno, Illinois). For the season Johnson averaged 9.6 points per game and 6.2 rebounds per game. He led the team with 34 blocks and posted a .581 field goal percentage.

Earning NAIA and NCCAA scholar-athlete honors were juniors Ben Brinks (Hudsonville, Michigan) and Zach Fitch (Chino, California). Also on the NCCAA Scholar-Athlete list were juniors Aaron Johnson (Holland, Michigan) and Matt Dail (Fulton, Illinois) and sophomore Aaron Haan (Munster, Indiana).  Those five athletes, along with sophomore Ben Andringa (South Holland, Illinois), were also on the CCAC Scholar-Team list.
