Jordan Perry Joins 1,000 Point Club
In the final game of his career at Trinity, senior Jordan Perry (Park Forest, Illinois) reached the career milestone of 1,000 points. On February 18 in front of a home crowd on Senior Day, the 6-5 forward hit a free throw in the final seconds of the first half to put him at the 1,000 point mark. He entered the contest eight points shy of the milestone and ended the game with 18 points to bring his career total to 1,010.
Perry achieved the 1,000 point mark in just two seasons with the Trolls. In the 2015-16 season he accumulated 451 points while averaging 15.0 points per game. This year he led the team and ranked fourth in the conference with a 20 point average while shooting .529 percent. In the 29 games of the season he amassed a total of 559 points.
Perry is the 31st men’s basketball player at Trinity to reach the 1,000 point milestone.
