NCCAA Baseball World Series

The Trolls are one of ten teams competing in the 2019 NCCAA Baseball World Series on May 22-25. The national tournament is hosted by the city of Easley, South Carolina, with games played at J.B. “Red” Owens Sports Complex and Alice Park. Trinity (31-20-1), who earned an automatic bid to the tournament as the North Central Region champions, is the No. 6 seed. They will play the opening game of the national championship on May 22 at 10 am ET.

The tournament field is divided into two pools of five teams, which will compete in a round-robin format. Pool play takes place on May 22-24 with the top two teams from each pool moving on to the semifinal round on Friday evening. The Trolls earned their way to the NCCAA World Series as the North Central Region champions with 4-2 and 5-0 victories over Hannibal-LaGrange University (MO) in the two-team region tournament.  It is their eighth NCCAA national tournament appearance with their last showing in the 2016 season.
